Anyway, just use a morph ability without stats alteration.

Morph is the only way to do it.
That or chaos, that's the way I like to do it.

The headhunter > berserker ability does it too.
There's quite a list, it all depends on how you want to achieve it though.

You can turn the original unit invisible with transperency+0.01 scale and then have a dummy unit with a model follow the original.

Well...yeah...it's the same thing as just creating a unit there, of course it will have animations.

But the morph ability would be easier lol. You could even replace the unit, and trigger the new unit, giving it the the same stats as the onl unit, such as Set (Last Created Unit)'s Strength = (Strength of (Triggering Unit))
or something like that, but morph is easier.
