Dummy ability that targets ground and channels? without the AoE cirlce?

Anybody got a dummy ability to do what the title asks? I thought about Channel but im not sure how to use it.
Any ideas?

I normally just use an AoE circle so small that it looks like the other cursor, but that is not the best solution.

Does volcano work? If not try experimenting with channel; I believe turning off the "Targeting Image" flag will take away the AoE circle.
