I'm trying to make a dead unit a doodad and walkable, I remember a tutorial here a long time ago on how to do it but I've forgotten and I can't for the life of me remember. In the other tutorial you could take someone like a dead yeti turn it into a doodad set the look to dead then you could put units on top of it and they'd walk across it rather than through it. Sorry if this is covered somewhere else. |

Heh, it didn't appear to be working in WE but when I tested it out in game it worked fine :D Figured it out. Basically you base off a destructable bridge/ramp set death mode availible in palette - true, then the unit to walkable - true, then delete it's pathing (units won't walk on it if it's got pathing to it). In WE it won't appear as though it's working (units will look like they're walking through it not on it) but in the actual game units treat the new corpse as though it's model as a solid walkable object then walk on top of it rather than through it. ![]() |
