I decided to give the sorceress some black leather and lace with silver trim and change her hair to blonde. Everything's working out fine except the hair. I'm having trouble in GIMP trying to get her hair blonde. It just doesn't look right at all. I've been penciling in the lighter colors right over the original on a floating layer, and I keep blurring it to smooth it down but then it smooths too much so I add more color, and I've tried less blurring but it hasn't really helped. I think she's going to come out looking like she had a really bad hair day. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/36575015/ |

Also can I just erase the crown from the skin and have it not show or will that mess up the skin? |

Youd have to alpha out the crown. |

So that's I presume, go to alpha channel and erase the crown parts? I suppose I could color edit the hair, but right now I'm working on a transparent layer over the background. Not directly on the background. Well anyways the more I stare at it the more potential, and ideas I see. :) If I erase the crown and leave the jewels the jewels will stay in her hair correct? The current skin is goth, but the next skin for this model... I'm torn between hawaiin or doing a medival gown, or making a skin based off my favorite Xmen character Storm, or add angel feathers make her a divine angel of somesort so much potential for that with the human sorcerress. Moving into the skinning field is much more interesting now than I first thought! |
