Why does the editor ignore what I put in for attack range?

I'm trying to make 2 towers, both with an attack range of 1400.

For whatever reason, even though the editor has a range of 1400, when I actually get in the game, the range on one tower is 700 and the range on the other tower is 900. If I set the range to 10,000 I still get one tower with 700 and one tower with 900.

What gives?

I'm using the UMSWE from Scio by the way.

Did you import custom units with WinMPQ or similar? If you import UniData.slk it will read from there instead.

nopers...I just right clicked in the unit editor and made a new unit.

And I can also drop the range of the unit...so I can make it lower, but I can't seem to make it higher than 700 for one tower and higher than 900 for another tower.

Is that attack enabled? You have the choice of the two attacks, make sure your range is in the proper one and then make sure that attack is enabled.

Try re-creating that custom unit entirely. jot down what's necessary and delete it. Save. Close. Re-open. Re-create.

Just to try, not sayign it WILL work, but if it's a glitch, it should fix it.

You need to change the aquisition(sp?) range too.
