We are recruiting serious, dedicated and talented people for development in several current map projects and more projects to come in the future. We are developing only the highest quality of maps. We currently have 8 mappers, with numerous testers and brainstormers. Mapper Requirements:
We are not looking for people who are inexperienced or think 30 if statements in a trigger is the proper way to implement it. We are open to modellers, skinners, brainstormers and testers (testers who really know what to look for). We are willing to work with a limited number of people in mentoring them to become professional map makers, although these people must be intelligent and have good logical thinking ability. I am, yes, a game programmer. I am very experienced with many years behind me. I handle the 'glue' aspects of project development, develop the standards for map release and ensure that all projects are meeting the standards, among other duties (including full-time development). No. We are not willing to release the name of our clan, this should be understandable. If you are interested in joining us, private message me on these forums with your Azeroth account name. Any futher questions should be directed in the form of a reply to this post. |

You have no idea how many people act retarded and just plain foolish when trying to recruit and you tell them no. They make big scenes and act like a child. |

Either say on which projects and for which companies you are a game programmer, or accept that anyone will completely ignore that statement. And it might be an idea to show at least ONE of your amazing high quality maps. Before sharing your grievances with how people act like children when they aren't allowed into the company of you and your dedicated team of talented people, how about you realise the childishness of your entire first post? |

Why would I want to join someone with a large bark and no bite? No posts here, and the retarded screen name of GameProgrammer, which I have seen on no other WC3 site, indicates you're either: - Completely inexperienced. - Hiding something. Neither makes me want to join. The fact that you are making completely unsubstantiated claims in a very arrogent tone. If you are so all mighty, then show us some of the stuff you have come up with, or I shall presume it to be nothing. Quote:
No, it's not. You expect respect, you must first be respectful. Quote:
80+% of the general population do not. That probably rises to 98% here. |

So why should anyone of us join? You have no rep, only 3 posting and then you don't even show us a "little" project. And it actually shows to me, that you're maybe an adult, but your behavior is like the one of a little child. |

You know what... Take it or leave it... Don't be so damned jealous... Most of you aren't even looking to work on projects, must less a clan, you're just so damned bored you have to troll and pick at something for entertainment. Your hearts would probably literally explode if you didn't get to act like assholes. |

Ok I pmed you... |

You're not gonna get many positive responses with that attitude. You claim that you're a game programmer, yet you don't establish your credibility by including what games you're currently (or have been) working on. In fact, I'm a game programmer too! Why aren't you releasing the name of your clan? To ashamed to show it, or are you part of a cult sworn to secrecy? On that note, there's nothing about you or who you represent in your posts or in your profile. For all we know, you could be an online predator targetting people interested in WC3 modding. I also noticed "professional map makers". So, you wanna mentor a limited amount of people to become professional map makers? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only professional WC3 map makers in existance work for Blizzard. Everyone else makes them as a hobby. So tell me, do you work for Blizzard? If you do, I take everything back. |

No thanks... CBS couldn't make a quality map if their life depended on it... |

It's obvious this guy is a hoax, as he obviously isn't a professional game programmer, because with an attitude like that he'd be fired on his first day of any job. |

Show us 1 map, just 1 map you have made then. I got a feeling this guy is a noob Quote:
