TDRs seen this already i think.
anyway, i know, uvwrap on leg looks messy, just noticed it..anyway
a new version of the dragon for Claniac3d's COS.
the old version looks gay.

This guys skinning and texturing took 4EVorz.. about 7hrs or something..anyway..enjoy.

and dont attempt to steal plz FGS.

Does look rather nice actually, well done, like to see it in action though.
Also, the wings seems to "straight"..

Beautiful. The mesh is a tiny bit messy, though. But very nice overall, good job.

ja, the legs,tail and arms have/had afew probs. mainly the leg...horrible..but this dam beats the dam ugly dragon i made awhile ago, and im happy its better than the other peice of sh*t.

not rpg, this is for shingees and rokhans new MMORPG game called "Chronicles of Strife"
you can go here to see what its about(link below), the forums changed (argh..5 times now) so its might be abit empty atm, and we are still planning on the game and making a few bits and peices of it so far...so dont expect a full blown game.. hmm... we had some shots of the engine and stuff, i think they are in the old forum archive..or the one b4 that.
The engine is Blitz3d i think. not sure.

Whoa, that model is absoloutly beutiful. I bet its about 2mb+ tho, but the detail was stunning. best model I have actually seen produced by anyone in the warcraft comunity so far!

edit: Maybe you should have a shrot description of the new project you are doing, in you signiture, werewulf. Btw, what sort of mmorpg will it be? a wowish one? a guild-warish one? A diablo style one? So far, seems very Diabloish

The Chronicles of Strife

UV maps...no bump,spec,nor, although it does support transparency..if you append a_ to the beginning of your texture.
(we are getting the system upgraded(dx7) etc, so we now plan to get bump, ref, etc.)

Particles will be present in the game.
Supported formats are png,bmp etc.
Model formats are max,3ds(i think) etc...

COMBAT SYSTEM
Im not sure, i lost the info for that, but i think its something more exciting that click, click....click... i think its swing slash thrust etc.

CURRENCY (crystals, soon to be named)

Players names unclude surnames
able to turn off the show/hide player names above character

GAME WORLD

12h per day
100 days per year
current year will fit in with storyline
10 starting nuetral zones all otehr areas are hostile
Captureable fortresses
Teleportation between cities costs money.
Continent of Karthanis

RACES

-Dark Elves (Fast , good with bows , and fairly good with dark magic.)

-Dwarves (crafting race Only race able to craft)(cannot cast spells) (Melee Only)

-Light Elves (Fast , good with bows, fairly good with nature magic)

-Humans (decent with bow & sword , medium-fast at running . average all around)(able to use Dark and Light magic, but not as good as elves)

-Dark Fairies (hover , extremely good with Dark magic and ranged.)

-(SECRET RACE, only team members have knowlege of it, hopefully..)

FORTRESSES
must hold for 30 mins for capture
can store weps/resources in fortresses
rosources and weps become property of guild who captures
fortresses act as spawn/portal for guilds
gain iresources form any nearby towns as taxes
must pay hired men every 12 hours
guilds can hire men
Limit on number of hirable NPC's determined by size and number of fortresses.
Hired NPC's can only defend the fortress they are gired for , and cannot leave.

PVP
If lvl 60 , slaughtering lvl 20's , get penalty
can be atatcked by anyone outisde a neutral zone
Will be PVP arenas with no penaltys
Max pvp party of 50 players

GUILDS

DEATH
2% chance to drop equiped weps
10% chance to drop an item from inventory
always lose 10% of gold your carrying
For 5 mins after death , you recieve a negative buff

RESOURCES
capturable
Guilds can station a few NPC's at resource
must kill guards , then hold resource for 10 mins
automatic collection , resources are put into the guild holding.

-COMMON -- Towns--copper mine--Iron Mine--Forests--villages---
-RARE -- GOLD--silver--Gemstone mines--Cities--

MOUNTS
-Horses (more planning to come mainly in the expansion, eg. dragons, etc)



STORYLINE

A Massive crippled,powerful dark dragon came to power, he savaged cities,towns alike and took over the main fortress that upholds power.
The wizards of the fortress, he enslaved, now dark and evil they seek only to fufill the dragons wishes. From the fortress the dark dragon spawns the darkest monsters from the most hellish nightmares. Thhe 5/6 races ran away from the fortress, shocked and broken, they now seek to regather what was lost.

Dragon = Drakengar
wizards = Dark Ring

This is more of a pvp and a conquer towns etc type of game, but it will definitly have quests etc.

Although im not too happy rokhan didnt want female/male gender selection.

But you can customize your characters looks.

I would like to note, this info is final, so it can be changed according to shingees/rokhans wishes.

ATM we are in dire need of more high quality modelers(be very help full if they also know how to anim and skin/texture(realistic style) etc

But we just dont want anyone joining.

We currently have:
Turdmoe,me(Werewulf) and shingees as modelers. (i heard something about jigreal, but im not sure)
shingee knows how to anim and rig, turdmoe is a lovly modeler and im their skinner/texturer.

Rokhan is the programmer and terrain(since the engine is only registered to one computer licence

Aeroflot is currently misc, he does us some concept art, very good with weapons in my opinion.

we are planning to obtain a realistic style, abit like GW except they have a horrible "everything is shiny and good and chinese" style. Im not sure, but we dont want stuff like WoW.

The dragons texture (png format) its about 1-2mb with a size of 1024x1024. The model will be in max format. im guessing thats around 500kb-1mb i think.
The models actually fittable in wc3, the skin is what makes it shine.(bump map+spec/gloss)
