problem with my skin

I extracted the question mark skin from the mpq.
after i edited the color in photoshop i resaved it.
i converted it to a blp and imported and stuff. but the question mark has the white box around the colored area.
I've included the skin as an attachment.
Could someone please help me.

Did you edit the image at all? Or just recolored the question mark area?

i used a hue and saturation, after i selected the area to affect.

And you didnt resize the skin at all? What do you mean with the white box?
