This will be for 2.9, like the Blinker Fish. I am seeking to replace a few skills for Naga. Skills I had in mind are: Epic Strike/ Sea Giant Tidalwave/Sea Giant Debris Uproar/Sea Revenant Tidalwave must be replaced by some sort of structure damaging skill that does 100/200/300 damage. Any other special effects, functionality etc. is up for grabs. Epic Strike and Debris Uproar must be replaced by passives. Anything is up for grabs here. Brainstorm cool and creative abilities please. Remember, anything is possible! |

Well, I have decided to replace Tidalwave with a spell that is like Fan of Knives. The catch is that targets that are initially hit then do another fan of knives. So its like additional damage based on how many things get hit. Fun and requires strategy to use properly but can be really strong. As for the passives: I was considering something that gave a % chance to insta kill the target. 11/22/33 seems to high yes? If you want this idea, please help me balance it. Another idea was % chance to steal gold from the owner of the structure. If you like this idea, please help me balance it. Yet another idea was a % chance to do some random effect. Buff the attacker in someway or cast a spell or anything. Would be the jack of all trades passive. Will need help brainstorming possible things for this. Also, an Aura is up for grabs. Feel free to brainstorm a cool Aura as well. Thanks in advance! |

Maelstrom Aura The [Insert Naga Here] creates a small localised Maelstrom of water and air around him, the miniture storm system whips around in circles, spiralling ever inwards with increasing force, tearing buildings to shreds and sucking hapless creatures into the abyss. Deals DPS to structures in a very wide area based on how close they are to the Naga, the closer, the more damage. The damage should be like 1, 2, 3 DPS at the outer edges of the range and 10, 20, 30 when right up close. Also veeery slowly pulls units towards the Naga with increasing speed the closer they are (they can still run away) At the edge of the range it would be barely noticable, when right near the Naga it should be about 140 move speed (so if a unit had 270 move speed (the average) it would move away from the Naga at about half move speed if it was right next to it.) Numbers probably need balancing, but i think it'd be pretty neat. I can whip up a small SFX for it too if you want. Storm Surge Faster than the eye can see, waves of water pour outwards from the [Insert Naga Here] with the force of a hammer blow, sending enemies flying and crushing buildings beneath th waves. Gives a % chance with each attack to send a massive 'pulse' of water outwards in the current facing direction, knocking fish flying backwards in a line and dealing damage to buildings. Additionally, any fish struck by the Surge are dazed and suffer a 25% reduction to move speed for a few seconds. |

Interesting ideas. An SFX for Maelstrom Aura would be nice to have. I like the idea of Maelstrom Aura and hopefully can figure out how to code it. Storm Surge sounds like another idea I was considering, basically a % chance to unleash a Shockwave. I like the additional effects though. Again, will have to see if I can code it (otherwise I'll get help). This is the type of brainstorming I need. Keep up the great work. |

SFX's are easy, i can usually whip them out in under half an hour depending on the extent. If you want any custom SFX's made (in-game textures of course), just ask me. I don't have time for huge amounts of terraining, but as i said, SFX's are easy. |

I will indeed be doing some variation of Maelstrom Aura. I think the building damage part is too much like Cloak of Flames though. Perhaps just buff the sucking in part? Feel free to whip up an SFX for the Aura(keep filesize low plz). |

Well the theory behind it was you could combine Maelstrom with Cloak for some really heavy damage on nearby buildings. |

That is a valid point. I will ask the Hulk if he can make this (I am sure he can). |
