These are a bunch of screenshots of one of the new hero's on the Bane of Eternity from my map, Advent of the Zenith. Check my profile if you want links to it's site or the thread on these forums about the map. He is what every summon-lover wishes they could play in every map, but he is also enjoyable to those who hate summons. He's unique, his skeletons are run entirely on working and happy AI, and his skills all effect the squad. The skills you can see in action here are: ~ Perdition Enchants the weapon of all members of the Dead of the Forgotten Vale with the ability to knockback the next unit hit slightly. ~ Chorus of a Thousand Souls Starts spawning skeletons like mad, allowing Myriad to go above his maximum of 6 skeletons for the duration of the skeletons. |

Wow skeletons? |

The model looks real nice in there, and he seems fun overall, but a ton of knockbacks might easily get too much too quickly |

The whole point is for the pinball knockback effect. :D And yeah, he uses a WoW skeleton model fixed up to fit my needs. I also attached Proudmoore's sword to their hands, so that's the weapon of choice. |

I dont think the skeleton summons should look like the hero, juse my opinion. Its looking great so far. |

Well, the thing is that the hero's design was that he was just another part of the group of skeletons. So iconically they use the same model, but the hero itself has a hero glow (Which is the only physical difference). That's how I had wanted it from the get-go. :3 |

Then make me a better skeleton model that is the same size (My modified WoW model is 150kb total including skin and weapon attachment). :D And yeah, lots of people wonder about how imbalanced he could potentially be. Well, no assurances, but I know 2.01 will include HUGE balance modifications. As of now I just want it all done. :P I'm glad to hear everyone likes him so far! |

Ok, that's officially one of the coolest ideas I've seen in a long time. This alone makes me want to learn JASS (cause there aint a snowball's chance that I could rig this in GUI :D). Dude, ... just, dude. Awexome. I've always wondered how a "Phalanx" unit, like a model of 3 Captains running/fighting together, would work out... Wow. --EDIT-- Wait, is this in a currently released version of AotZ?? If so, LINK NAO. |

Dude, this is freakin' two years old. The link to the map's download has always been in my signature and the map has been in the database for almost a year. Way to not do a search. |

I always loved the concept of this Hero, especially the whole formation thing. Btw, how did you go about doing that? Model/Skin looks good, will have to see it more with my own eyes ingame + prortrait + icon to get more of a feel for it. |
