changing an unit's owner

When you change an unit's owner, do any researches that applies to that unit transfer with the unit?

It depends on the research. Set the research's attribute "Transfer with unit ownership" in the Object Editor to see this.

BTW: It should be "A unit", not "AN unit" ;-)
