Im not sure if this has been discussed but right now there is a huge huge backlog in the map submissions, most maps have hardly any posts and it seems like anitarf is the only moderator who is testing maps, and not many are being junked. People come here to get expert crits on thier maps, not a looooooooooong waiting time. Not sure if you'll like but I really think these suggestions should be implemented: a) We have alot of non-mods contributing feedback, I think that if someone, even though they are not a mod, gives enough feedback and reasons for his choice then a mod/admin can choose to make that opinion count in place of a mod. b) Give mods/admins the power to junk maps they feel will not pass AT ALL, not some that might be questionnable or in progress but ones that are pure junk. That's all I got, tell me if Im being a stupid <insert random flame here>. |

That sounds reasonable. I've recently submitted my Zombie Island, and though it soon got 2 approvals and no complaints, it took some time to get the last one. BTW, at the moment it's got the three approvals needed, but it's still in the map submissions subforum. Should I notify someone by PM, or should I just wait? |

Your map does have 3 approvals, but none of them is an Admin approval, so technicaly it's not through yet; although it seems unlikely that an admin wouldn't approve it now, so no worries. As for the huge ammount of maps in the map submission section, yeah, I agree, there's far too many. But then again, resource submissions have similar difficulties. That's the problem we get with staff mebmers going on vacations, and I'm sure the problem will be rectified in a month or two.Tim. should be getting a computer with Warcraft soon too, that should fix things since before, he moved most of the maps around. |

Hmmm... it apears I've still not fully understood the whole system. Anyway, I'll be patient and wait. |

I guess I just have to ask... The admins of the site are: Tim. Blade.dk Whitehorn Vexorian Are there any I'm missing? (I seriously could not find an official list of the admins anywhere >_>) But also, do you think it might be reasonable if it was 2 mods and 1 admin OR say.. 5 mods? I don't know, administrators are indeed admins but there just aren't a lot. As administrators a certain level of activity is indeed required, so perhaps the 5 mod idea is a bit unreasonable, who knows. In any case, when all of the vacation/getting a computer stuff is taken care of this whole thing shouldn't be a problem. |

I don't think it is a good idea to keep this discussion open, for example more users liek dusk would come and make silly suggestions after the changes were already made ... |
