Judging from all the new people to Wc3c, Many of them simply break the rules because they are unaware of them in the first place, Heck 75% of them never registered in a forum before. Therefor we should make a newcomers forum that they post on it that they are new, Get to see the welcome wagon, Also to be told to See the rules before posting. I also have examples: 1- Pirates of the carrabian project (Can't spell this right :P) Where the creator of the project didn't get to see the rules and he was threatend to get Negative Rep, Which Aray also had the pleasure to do the long reply that I was gona make (Except for the mass mistakes no offense mate ).2-A thread that was found in this forum about someone being new (Saw it about 2 months ago and still remember) where the thread got removed and again got warned. ~Dead |

Newcomers Forums are spam paradise. |

But if 75% of them break the rules, then nothing guarantees the would actually use the newcomer forum... |

Don't new registrees get a welcome PM which includes a link to the rules? And you're told to read the rules before registering as well, so there really isn't an excuse. |

75% of them that get it wrong hit the wrong forum. The other 25% just have no clue. Newcomer's forum would be useless. |

@Vex 75% don't actually even know the rules until being notified. @blu I'm not familiar with that untill you said .@Griffen just like blu said if there's a pm , they get a link to the newcomer's thread. ~Dead |

i think it'd be quite useless too. And, you know, we have plenty of staff to keep newcomers in check. What we should do however, is be a little nicer to the newbs. |

I think it's stupid. Oh hey welcome to the site lets post a lot of spam here and ask about how to allow levels to go past 10. No thanks. If you are so insecure with yourself that you need people to welcome you wherever you go, you wont get far in this world. Oh, and yes. I wrote a very clear PM that is sent to everyone when they register explaining the important rules, forums, etc along with links to the full rules. There is no excuse. |
