again a dead lotr project? :(
very nice reconstruction of Osgiliath but the thumbnails looks much better than the big versions xD
Why dead? Is there a possiblity to get the map?

Well, the project was like a multiplayer lotr, u create a char, and u can load in any map, and play random lotr adventures, such as the warg attack, helms deep, or Osgiliath being invaded by Orc forces.
The thumbnails look better cause the map was for Warcraft normal view playing XD, many details couldnt be seen from that camera height.

i actually like it quite a bit, however to create a more ruined-effect you should try adding more of a custom texture to all of those models.. maybe more yellowy-browny to give it a rustic look as aposed to grayish-whitish?

edit: well seeing as the project is dead you won't be doing that.. i appologize for my stupidity

I will see what i can do, now im a bit inside skinning, enough to make that buildings ruined :)
Its dead because at the moment, im doing another project, but nobody knows what gonna happen tomorrow... :p

EDIT: i will modify the skins those buildings parts are using. Then (if the skins are OK) i'll be posting new screens here.

I'd so play this game! Just make it purely Osgiliath if its too much.

The fog is perfect, and it's a nice use of not too much fire, as people often do in ruined cities...

Could do with a few doodads though (but if it was recently destroyed then don't bother. Else if it was destroyed ages ago, lose the fire and make it more overgrown)

Love it.
