Goblin Steam Armor

08-12-2006, 12:17 PM#1
Pheonix-IV
95% freehand built for Handclaw's A Tinkers Tale campaign. The 5% is the goblin, who was torn uncerimoniously from his Shredder cockpit.

1363 polygons, a llittle high for WCIII, but its a Taurenesque unit, so it should be perfectly fine.

You can easely reduce the poly count on this one by target welding some more, especially in the legs and the shoulder area. The polygon flow is also a little inconsistant, i see a lot of diffrent sizes in there.

I could also advice you to make the arms a lot longer, right now he would be pretty inefficiant in a fight due to its short range.

Holy cow-this needs to be finished. Is Handclaw actually going to use it, or are you just working on it in case he does?

Sorry, sorry... I just remember hearing that, on certain areas of the forum, you could "necro-post" and it was ok. I thought that included the Art Gallery, but I guess it's just Resources (?)...

Again, my bad.

... I asked the questions because I honestly wanted to know the answer. It's unlikely that I could personally acquire them, and wanted to know if Handclaw would.

Actually, I would be quite impressed if he still had the file on his PC.

Yes, "necroposting" doesn't apply to the gallery, but only if you have something to say about the picture like "nice worK" or something, though I really don't see why you feel the urge to say that to a 2 years old image anyway...but asking those kind of questions about something this old is just silly..."...or ARE you just working on it..."...come on man!
