Maybe this does not evne fit here at all, but I'll still try it: How does Battle.net actually work? Someone "hosts" a game, and people join. For me it would seem that all the peole who joined are connected to the host. But if that's the case, why would the game sometimes still continue if the host gets dropped? |

Things get ran on the "hosts" computer. Some people can host, some people cant, because of blocked ports, LAN/Router and firewalls. If you can host, then thats fine. If you cant, you have to join somebody elses. If somebody hosts, and they leave, if their is another eligable host, the hosting will be passed on to them. If their isent any more eligable hosts, everybody will get dissconnected from the current game. |

Correct. If you read the intire thing, you would notice i said: If somebody hosts, and they leave, if their is another eligable host, the hosting will be passed on to them. If their isent any more eligable hosts, everybody will get dissconnected from the current game. |
