I was thinking, is it possible to allow you to save something in one map and load it into another? For example, lets say I was playing the World of Warcraft Molten Core map that allows me to save. If I were to make a map of, say, Ahn'Qiraj, would I be able to load my character using the Molten Core map code if I use the same save/load triggers in my map? I hope that makes sense If this is not possible, is there any way one could go about devising a way to allow saves and loads between different maps? Thanks in advance for your help. Oops quick edit: I forgot to mention that I would also include the same items/units/spells etc of the other map, or else the loading wouldnt work (because there would be no items/spells or units in the new map that match those of the older). |

If the save/load code uses the same method in both maps. Which i highly doubt unless the maker make it that way. If your trying to do it for 2 random maps on bnet, i highly doubt it. If your trying to make a map which has this feature, then definatly yes you can. |

Yeah I was going to make one map with the save/load code, then make another with the same code in it to save/load. The MC and AQ thing was just an example. Thanks much! |
