Terrain?

tried on terrain... but i just cant paint terrain, don't know how to make them look natural. And my lighting sux too. Any advice?

I don't understand what you mean. But I guess you want your pic to look more reallistic. Google some snow mountain pictures. Much more rocky and contrasted and less smooth. Your grass just needs darker, mid tone and lighter shades so we can see more of the grass. You can use textures for more reallism or effect, ref up that stone wall too, put in some smaller rocks, make it less regular. That's all I can say for now.

Broaden your horizon, experiment with textures. Its quite fun.

take a look at the lovly guildwars art, done by danial docui or something, he has a lovly way of over laying brush strokes to create a lovly lighting.

sorry, you'll then have to stop painting landscapes. Or waste ridiculous ammounts of time on 1 piece.
