I remember in Starcraft all you had to do is say "Launch Campaign AI Script etc" and the ennemies would do stuff and attack. What do we have to do in wc3? I've launched the AI, but the only thing the computer does is collect gold. I tried giving them 6000 gold, and they still collect gold. |

Well, It's not as easy as you mention in starcraft. The Ai in WC3 is really stupid and you have to teach the sequences of buildings and units that you want to train. If you don't want to deal with the AI editor, and the AI player race is not custom, you should use this easy trigger. Trigger: AI - Set melee AI for <Your AI Player>: Scripts/human.ai |

I didn't even know there was an AI editor. Let alone how to get to it lol For further reference, how do I launch the AI editor? |

In the world editor, press F8. |

Uhm... do I need wc3: the frozen throne to use this? Because I pressed F8 and it didn't actually do anything... and if I don't need any expansion, how do I get to it? |

Yes, you need the Frozen Throne expansion in order to use the AI editor, If you are using RoC, I stronghly suggest to get the expansion, it gives you more tools to do more customized things (AI creation, add custom models, more trigger functions, etc) BTW, I see you are new in this page, WELCOME to WC3C :) If you don't have expansion, the only option is the usage of the trigger function that I showed before. Trigger: AI - Set melee AI for <Your AI Player>: Scripts/human.ai |

AI can be made with jass and then imported with an MPQ editor if you're using ROC. However you already have the expansion so it doesnt really matter now, but just know you get more flexibility when creating the AI in jass. |

Now, the good TFT WE features are a real object editor (no more dealing with sylk files to get complex things done), the campaign editor (I know more than one that wished he could do that in SC), no more sounds being gone everytime you saved again, the tilesets, the tavern, channel, etc. |
