well for a recent version of my map i thought id moddify a couple and make 2icons to enchance my map, i used Image Extractor 2 to convert to .blp from .tga, and i imported them into my map... but they dont work... they dont appear a site said that they had to be 24-bit in tga so i ran through my tga versions and there all 24-bit then i checked the paths, there all good i uploaded the blps here, if ne1 can take a look to see wuts rong i would be greatful thanks |

although i also heard that an icon should be 24bit, it has proven that 32bit is a better (and sometimes only) solution. try using it instead. also your icons need to contain an alpha channel which is probably the problem here. i suggest that you convert them using Warcraft 3 Viewer. if the image doesn't contain it, the viewer will ask you if you want it to add an opaque alpha. just say yes and the icon should work. |

Did you not get any icon to work, or do you just have problems with disabled versions or other alternates? It is also preferable to import your icons as .blp files, as they are optimized for wc3 texture use and often smaller. |
