First Public Program!!

I'M GOING ON VACATION THIS WEEK (Aug 21-28) SO I WILL NOT BE HERE!!!

You know how its a pain in the a** trying to find the map you're looking for because WE shows the filename and WC shows something different? Well this program shows a list of all files in the Download folder and when you click on when shows the filename and the WC name!

The search function still doesn't work how I'd like it too :(

Later I will be adding a thing so you can look for maps in different folders too.

Please leave bugs/comments/suggestions

Thanks!!!

*********************
NEW VERSION 1.3
*********************

This version removes the "|r" at the end of the file if it is in color. You know can view your maps that are in a different folder than "Download". Resized the program a little bit.
NOTE: I DO NOT THINK THIS VERSION WILL WORK IF YOUR HARDDRIVE WITH WARCRAFT ON IT IS NOT C:\ (I'm going to fix this when I get back)

*********************
NEW VERSION 1.2
*********************

This version fixes a bug (lol forgot what it was now) and has an added thing that displays how many players a map is.

*********************
NEW VERSION 1.1
*********************

The new version reads the WC directory from a registry key instead of always trying to use the default location. This should enable users who put their WC in a different directory than the defualt one or in different languages to be able to still use the program. Also added in the credits bar at the top.

Pops up when I click somewhere. Do you read the path from the registry or did just write in yours?

BTW: My World Editor will change this ^^

Oops!

Ya it's from my path

I'll take a look at it now and see what its doin

Thats neat. How did you get the WC name? Did u read it from the hex?

Is you WC installed in the defualt location? (C:\Programs Files\Warcraft III\)?

You should read it from: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III in registry. It's stored as InstallPath or InstallPathX

Also check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE for fun. My WC3 is installed in the default location, but my Windows is not english.

More friendly interface, more information about maps avaliable, more operations supported and more compatible with some special maps and special langs.

What extra information does yours give about the map? What extra operations?

With that extra information hopefully I can make my program a lot better.

Generally everything provided by w3i file but display in colorful text like wc3 does.
It support some extra operations like create lan game with selected map, export map as a data map (map with basic information and can be editted with WE) etc.

*Goes to see what extra information is in w3i file*

Neat. Mine displays the colorful text too! (On most of them, not on the ones where the color doesn't start at the beginnning) Right now im working on adding in different folders so you can choose something besides "Download".

If you open the credits dialog it won't close. Don't use timers there just show it then have a Close button on it... and don't hide the browser. You got some error with color code parser also no unicode support.

BTW: Who's Noxc?
