Archmage and Bandit Mage without their horses

Made by: Dan van Ohllus

Description:
If you ever wanted an Archmage and/or a Bandit Mage without horse/s, these are the models you're looking for.
I made these models from the original Necromancer and the original Archmage.
These models don't use any custom textures.

Notifications (if you have seen WolfmanArc's "Magi on foot"-model):
I did not modified WolfmanArc's "Magi on foot" model. I used the original in-game (WC3) models to create these mages.

GIVE ME CREDITS IF YOU USE THESE MODELS IN YOUR MAP!

Feel free to edit this resource for your projects as long as you credit me for the resource you based it from, so please disregard the outdated permission part in the readme file.

UPDATE:
- Glow on the staff is properly billboarded.
- Added Dissipate animation.
- Geosets are properly merged.

Relatively useful, bt the back looks horribly ugly. And when they walk the look kind of depressed with their heads down : P

The mage would look much better if the robe wasn't so streched over the ground.

Mc !
try changing the place you use for the robe in the texture, you should use the arm part there, it would look a lot better.

Due to the odd-ass shape of the robe dragging across the ground to the sides, i am not approving this... yet. Put a little more effort into making this work. Preferbly re-wrap the backs as well.

Understood! I'll see what I can do to fix the flaws.

I agree with Ewrt, the concept is good enough, but the robes need work.

Model updated and I hope the UV changes (it looks less ugly now, very less) will reach the approval.

I say you should try to make the front part be more "coordinated" with the back part

and also I suggest you to use a bit of the black part of the mage's texture above the arm in the front of the robe so it looks like a robe and not like a dress

But it looks better anyways

They look a lot better, but I still don't like the front of the lower part of the robes, the texture is too stretched.

You see the point where the hero glow "cut" the robe? If they had that shape, it would looks three times better.
