Hey it's me. ROFL I haven't drawn a lot this summer. Few crappy doodles here and there. :(

Was sketchin lil anime gal but then started this evil orc dude on the second half and then went nuts on it. I like him, he's a blademaster but more barbaric while keeping the asian influence. I didn't finish the bottom since Ionno if I should make him sit like that or kneeling. Don't know how to draw that part properlly any help appreciated.



Was watchin tv and saw a part of this movie. I didn't see the end but I'm thinkin of ordering the dvd when I get a credit card. lawl. If you can guess who the french actress is... REP. I tried to capture her incredible stare from the ref pic I had, cudnt find screencaps from the scene I wanted to draw... so I need serious crit on proportions, anatomy and all b4 I ink her. Looks real similar to my lady metaphor, actually I thought up my lady metaphor before knowing this movie existed. My lady holds a scalpel while this girl holds a oldschool razor that barbers use.

Also, the orc is awesome. A succesfull blend of warcraft and asian styles, wich is hard to pull off. The only thing that bothers me is his one sleeve, it looks like the arm underneath it is a little off. Finish this cat, he looks really promusing.

That ain't the girl. The actress IS french but she's much older (now). She was one of the most reknowned actresses in french history (i think) and starred in an excellent film noir (the one i saw a bit of).

The orc looks so awesome. I dislike the face (mostly because of the jaw), but everything else is utterly cool. Excellent job.

The orc's posture suggests standing.

As for the girl, I noticed a few things.

1) Her left eye looks a bit funny, and the eybrow a bit too. Maybe her face is a bit lopsided. I could be very much wrong, and probably am.

2) I have never owned a jacket like that, but wouldnt the sleeve slip down her arm a bit if she had her arm pointed up?

3) The first finger of the hand holding the scalpel looks funny. Excuse me, I mean razor. Was typing after I read the last sentance.

4) She is standing very straight.

St33m: I'll look into that. Standing very straight is not wrong lol but yea I'm just doing her upper body so no matter. The ref pic's jacket was like old 80 or something style and made her shoulders huge so I had to change it for the pic to make it more appealing. The material for the vest is pretty thick, I'll change how it goes around her wrist a bit.

Right. It's just that both sides of the jacket are parallel and the top, if it was a line, looks pretty flat.

Today I wanted to rework the picture but the server was down so I didnt have access to the crit so I did what I remembered and some changes might not be noticeable. Anyways I inked the whole thing. Her pinky is wrong and the shading on the wrist is bad, I'll fix that on PS when I get my comp back.

Now, should I ink the pattern of the vest? It's pretty complicated but I think it would look nice. Opinions would be appreciated.



As for crit, you can point out mistakes but I can't do much about em now. sorry!
