Adding Alpha Channel/Team Colours?

How to do it? lol. I have done a basic reskin for the villager male, and now I want to know how to add some little shapes which display player colour. I am a noob to skinning, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do. I know it has something to do with alpha channels though? Doesn't it?

Team color is technically a part of the model and not the skin. What you do to show it, is make a part of the skin see-through with the alpha channels so the teamcolor material underneath becomes visible. However, when done at parts of a model that dont have a teamcolor material, they usually just become holes.

I hope this helps you. I think you can easely add teamcolor with one of the many MDL editing tools.

Erwt, you might wanna point people at old threads which have explained it before. I think this is the 1337th time the question has been repeated.

i'm dyslectic actually, spell checking my every fucking post would take too much time. I like to think i have a life besides posting.

:) You know friendly gesture, but you know nothing of being formal as being a director. If you think it's better to have a life than to post, why bother giving a personal awnser.
:) Oh it saves time too!

IBTL, you can lock it now, it's going off-topic, and it's your job to do so.

I dont see any reason why i should change just becouse i am an admin now. MY "casual" attitude worked fine as a moderator, and it will as an admin.
