aniway, I guess it's good in one way to copy or get inspiration from all sorts of sources, for it builds up the sense of observation and your imagination. Now go and observe real life (by that I mean real stuff in front of your eyes, not things from pictures) objects or creatures and first try to get the shape right, don't worry about materials and volume yet. And also draw lots and lots of cubes (from your imagination)! That's extremely important, it increases your line drawing skill a lot. And don't spend a lot of time on a single line to try to draw it straight, draw them as fast as you can. Don't worry if you don't make them straight the first times, just make cubes untill you puke. I'm not kidding.
Of course, all those apply if you actualy want to get good at this... |
