Guest | now that i finally finished mine, you'd think i would want to go play it with real people. but it doesnt feel like it would be fair. i know all the stuff and where it is/does. maybe if it wasnt trigger happy and just a regular multi map it wouldnt be so wierd. anyone else ? |

Which is the main reason I avoid making RPGs you loose the fun of figuring out the game. Also in my Smash Tv map I kinda know what classes work best...but thats thru the fact i've played it so many times. |

Insert more random elements into your maps to make them more unpredicatable ;) |

How unpredictable is your map if you know every knook and cranny of it? Thats why I kept handing it to berry2k to add more stuff. Right now I just made the mage class absurdly hard to use. I like it that way Theres atleast a 50% chance where I get killed on round 1. Sure everyone in the game looks at me like i'm mad using such a weak class... |

Nah man, even if you know every knook and cranny, you can't predict random variables. Make the monsters appear in different places. Have the boss be random so that different possible ones are more vulnerable to different classes. Give the player a random starting item. Create a quest to find something in the forest and have it placed randomly. Just make it damn cool ^_^ |
