Is it possible to make (in 3dsmax 5) campaign screen like TFT's Night Elf one, but instead of that sexy chick, I would like 2 murlocs to stand there? If yes, how would that look.

thank you =]

Ofcourse its possible. Just import the scene or whatever into 3dsm, delete the nelf, and model some murlocks. It would look like crap if you would take wc3 morlock models though, so if you are lazy and still want it looking good, get wow murlocks. Preferably ofcourse, you model them yourself.

It IS possible, and will look good somewhat... but I'll ask the true question for you: HOW is it made?^^

I don't know how to model murlocs, especially in 3dsmax... (Blender user :D).

So I'll try with WoW murlocs there is shitload of them on wc3s... now... how do you import mdx files to 3dsmax?

Heh, they won't be animated if you import mdx into max. There was some tutorial I was going to try to see if I could repair the lost animations, but Im not sure about it.

don't double post bitch. I merged your posts. The importer I use and wich is pretty easy to use is KMK's importer/exporter wich I attached. It can import bones and animations, but with that option on it gives a bloody error and it all looks like crap, so you can't use that feature (use "static" and turn off "bone rotation"). The UVW layout is preserved though.

to use it, copy it in max's scripts folder. then from the tools pannel chose max script or something, then run script and chose the script. As far as I can remember...

Importing the MDX is cake, you'll need to reanimate it but there's not much to animate. What will need to be animated are your Murlocs, but we can't help you there if they are WoW exports. I can tell you this though, you can export WoW animations intact with bones into Max.
