Hey, im new to these forums.. though im a long time player to Warcraft. I've also had some experience making maps.. but lately i've found a problem that i find i cant solve. I made a campaign map, custom. Everything works alright triggers, timed events and everything.. I didnt touch the starting triggers for melee map either (cept removing initial unit placement and global victory conditions). All in all, i want the computer to react like it would in a melee map.. the problem is, sometimes the computer IA works fine, they start gathering resources and produce units, kill creeps and attack. but other times the IA will just gather resources build structures and wont make any melee units or attack. Is there some issue im not aware of? how can i get to computer to always act like its on a melee map? |

IA should be AI(Artificial Intelligence) For the issue... try this: Trigger: AI - Start Melee AI for {Player} using Scripts\Human.ai |

Ok, i tried that and it worked the first time. Later i found out it would work sometimes and sometimes not. Here's the rundown on my scenario: -Cumperter player is (ORANGE Num 6). Orc. -I've edited the following units: -Orc Peon -> Goblin Peon (graphics model change and name only) -Grunt -> Troll (graphis model change and name only) -Orc Rider-> Amani Troll graphics change, stats and name changes) -Changed the houses to Troll ones. Nothing more the scenario is for a "High Elves Campaign". Now, i've tired a few things from running the standard map melee for all computer players, to changing scripts from map.ia to human.ia.. even a few sets of custom IA that i cant get to work right. up to this point all i want is that the computer use a (standard melee) ORC.ia I dont know if some of the changes i made to the units may be causing problems. |
