I am very new to skinning and painting. I want to make a fire particle buy I don't know how to do it right. Here are some atempts. To make them transparent I change the color of the picture to gray, with black background.

If someone would like to help with painting the image I uploeaded it as a psp file.

So, how to paint nice particles?

Convert the blp into a tga, open it in the material manager using the Warcraft III texture setting, and then apply all the options you want.

This is of course if you're using the art tools.
