I've noticed (perhaps uncorrectly) that AddSpellEffect is rarely used, compared to AddSpecialEffect (that includes the ById, OnUnit or the other stuff). Just wondering why? Because in my opinion AddSpellEffect proves to be hell more useful when it comes to implementability. Or is it because of speed? If someone can (obviously I can't because of my computer being down), could you please compare speed between AddSpellEffect and AddSpecialEffect+constant function for effect model path?? I find AddSpellEffect more handy because you can modify the model of the effect itself directly from the object editor, unlike AddSpecialEffect which requires constant function. Thanks! ~Daelin |
