I dont want to tell about it now. I want to do a little surprise, but i can tell that: there wil be using mpq, mdx, blp and map terrain! If i will succes tool will be ultimated!!! |

In a PM you were specifically asking for C++ source codes. The only tools I can offer that are remotely related to C/c++ are BLPaletter and PJass, both of which the source code is already publicly available. And yes, we usually like to know what you are planning to make before giving source code away to random people. |

You can see some examples of manipulating mpqs with SFmpq in the mpqutils in grimoire over in tools. MDX, BLP and map terrain formats can all be found by searching these forums. All the information you need is publicly available, just look for it. If you have specific questions we can probably help. I'd recommend working with MDL by the way, that'll be doubtlessly easier to debug. |

As far as Wc3 Viewer is concerned, you'd have to write an e-mail to TheProphet (find his e-mail address in the readme). He's usually willing to give source code out to people, at least he helped me once with image converion. However, he's not active any more so I dont know if you'll get a reply. In any case you'll find all that Wc3 Viewer does in Mago's model editor too. So i suggest you just grab tha source code from his site: http://magos.thejefffiles.com/War3ModelEditor/ Quote:
