Host Detection issues

I run a host detection script at the start of the game, however, it will rarely choose the wrong person as the host. I have no idea what is causing it, and have tried multiple scripts. If you know of a fix let me know.

Are you referring to Tropical Tag? It has the same problem. I even tried the script that takes the average 5 times.

Very interesting method. Still occasionally fails like the JASS method though.

that guy is kind of stupid though, how could that JASS version be more complex than that silly, selection event based one? And it would still have the same issues as the sync stored integer one. If you don't want issues when detecting hosts don't plan to detect the host.

Is there any 100% bullet-proof host detection?
I wanna put it also in my map, but I don't know any that are 100% sure.
Btw, seems to me that this selection thing is just useless.

As hundreds of people have said already, NO.
Their is always a risk when detecting the host that it will pick the wrong player.
End of story.
