WarCraft III can only handle up to 99 custom units. I don't recall if there was indeed a workaround for this, perhaps in one of the newer editors, seeing as I've never tried to add more than 100 |

Well, if you know how to do it, add them manually to the SLK and TXT files. If you don't know what I mean then forget it. |

1- Dont ever use test map mode. 2- Try saving it as a different name 3- Import custom files using WinMPQ (if thats what your trying to do) |

Try do get into SLK editing and add the units manually. Then import the SLKs into your maps and it should work. But you should have some experience with it, otherwise it would need much time. I don't know any other way to do what you want to. If you want to make so much new units this is the only way. |

Actualy.... i found a way around this littile problem of mine. This is the ESIEST way to add more custom units. 1First get the WARCRAFT 3 UNIT EDITOR (W3U) in the download section. Now with the unit editor open (The world editor one) click file then export unit settings. Save it somewhere you can find it. 2Now open the W3U and open that file. Then edit, add whatever save the settings, then open them in the WE. They wont apear in the unit editor but they will apear in the unit pallete. 3Place your new unit(s)! P.S. if you need to know the name of skills ECT look back on units that have that skill, then copy the 4 letters. this was so anoyin trying to figure out the NOOB way around editing war3.mpq :knife: |

arent they refered to as cu00 - cu99? If so, hows that program work? |

Custom Units are referred to as HC01-99, NC01-99, UC01-99, OC01-99, and IC01-99. This would make you think that it could fit 99 for each race and then 99 items, right? But NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Blizzard has to be the biggest jackasses in the world about this one. If you make a human unit, it will be HC01, then if you make an Orc unit after that, it will be OC02. Incredible waste of space, don't you think? |

Um, i thought that the no boundries tool would let you add how many ever things you want. But if you wanna get really into it, you would have to edit the worldedit.exe to accept more units, or atleast i think its that one. I dont mess with the .exe files too often, since the .dlls are much more fun to look at. But if you want to and you know how, it would be good to see a we that could do that. Hey, maybe scio will add it to his next version if he figures it out. |

also, you can manually edit the unit codes for even more units. Theoretically, war3 supports up to 1679616 units, although it would not be able to load that many due to memory restrictions. |
