Can't add textures to my model! HELP!

As the title sez, I used the Warcraft 3 Art Tools with my 3dsmax 5 and I followed all the steps of the damned tutorials to add a texture to my f*king model, but it appears white! Something is wrong, and I want to know what is it.

P.S: The problem is that the texture doesn't work inside the 3dsmax 5, I didn't test it on a map.

Hope that somebody can help me.

I will need some more information. Have you properly wrapped the texture? did you make it a war3 material? do you vieuw your exported model with the blp texture in the same map?

Save the image as tga before converting to blp.
Make sure you add the blp into the mdl.
Make sure you have the blp in the map as well as the mdx.

He's using max, so converting stuff is irrelevant. When you export a model from max with the art tools, it automatically creates an MDX, and converts all your materials to wc3 BLP's.

The image used in the war3 material in max needs to be a tga though.
