In my recent attempts to fix up Deprotect, I realized I needed information about MPQ's and WCIII map files so I spent a fair amount of time re-compiling MPQ data from all over the web and from old sources of my own to make an in-depth guide to MPQ's. It's largly the work of Zephir, Zezula, and others, however the original site from which I obtained the full documentation from is down. I did manage to get most of it on some asian forum and from this forum. I'm surprised so many sites have gone down since I left for WoW (such as http://www.campaigncreations.org/sta.../inside_mopaq/ and the original wc3campaigns.com). Anyways, this compiled version has a neat side menu that makes browsing for specific sections quite easy, and I'll keep it on my servers indefinately. Enjoy http://nathanmx.com/mpq/ |

Woah, ok. I thought you were linking to the deprotector. I'm not qualified to give my opinion on the documentation, but it looks well set out :P. |

That would be a problem if that weren't a page of plain valuable documentation. BTW, the side bar that scrolls along with the page is extraordinarily annoying. And nice work. |

I figured that it's better than a static, stationary menu because otherwise in order to move to another section you'd have to scroll all the way up to click a link (since the documentation is all on one page). Personally I think it makes it a lot easier to navigate the entire document, but I suppose it's just a matter of preference. :) |

Good work. I think the menu itself is fine, but it is kinda annoying, I am never able to catch the bottom part of it. |

I prefer http://www.wc3campaigns.net/tools/specs/index.html Also I made http://wc3campaigns.net/zoxc/mapformat/ which is more correct (wct/wtg files), but WTG format is a bit wrong (haven't updated it yet) Frames does work for left menus. |
