Custom Rally Point System by Jazradel The CRPS allows users to control all aspects of a buildings rally point. Sick of blizzards single rally point and lone flag effect? Feel enlightened, because the time has come to change. The Custom Rally Point system features: Multiple Rally Point Customizable Graphics GUI for non-jassers I'm looking for people to do some general tests for all the features. The attached file contains the map and the GUI. |

Well in the brief (less than 2 minute) test I did, not very much seemed to work. What is the intended purpose of this system? I thought maybe it is a way to cue multiple orders for any unit, which would be useful for creep spawns in AoS type maps. Is it more limited than that? I have attached a replay, but a description of it would probably be helpful. To the best of my memory: First I set a rally point, which seemed to work fine. Then I tried creating another rally point in the fog of war and it said I couldn't (I think it was also out of map bounds too though. So I set another rally point, seemed to link up ok and I created a unit and it followed it. Then I tried clearing the rally points or removing the last rally point, neither worked. Then I tried creating a 3rd point in bounds but in the fog of war, it didn't let me do that either. So I created another one in view, but the lightning went straight from the barracks to the third rally point, as did the footman I trained. ![]() Mainly it looks like you just have a problem with clearing rally points, but I would also expect to be able to target in the fog of war. I don't know what you intend this system for though. |

Updated the map, changed the LoS and Map Bounds limits.

Why would you want lighting effects between rally points? Does only the player who set the rally points see the lighting? |

There is not much use if you cannot place a rally point in fog of war. |

Yeh, only the player who owns the building will see the effect. You want to see the lightning effect because it's the only way to tell which order that points are in. It's easy enough to disable in any case. I'm working on a solution to the LoS problems. |
