Isn't it a bit thick-rimmed for a wine glass? Or am I just used to sipping from the finest crystal?

Very nice, though. I ap---urk.

Well where would you like to put it? TDR says that high polygon is about 10 000 and this has 6464.

A-ha, so it *is* a wine glass! Red or white? (So I can further tell you to reshape it. )

that's ma boy! though 6k is a lot for a glass so I'm moving this to high poly (though 10k is still low poly; an armor set from Oblivion has around 17-18k).

Oh, and the render is abominable.

Well I just followed a tutorial about how to make realistic glass material.

TDR
if that's realistic, then I'm wearing my aunt's dead cat's underpants...and I'm not.

I found a missing material library and now I use the premade glass material. Feels a bit cheaty but looks better. :/

Edit:
Man this glass material is glorious! And it renders like 10 times faster!

lower the bloody specularity to 0 and place a white plane wich is visible only for relfections/refractions so there will be something to reflect. you'll get a better effect.
