Keyboard Controls

Hey everyone.

I was wondering if the World Editor is able to detect any keystrokes apart from the four directional arrows. I'm working on a map where, preferrably, control of the unit would be done through the keyboard.

The normal unit control hotkeys ("H" for hold position, used with an Issue Order trigger), won't work because in the map the player doesn't own his units.

Is there any way to detect keys such as "A" to "Z" or "1" to "9"? Thanks for the help :)

The only keys that can be detected with triggers are up, down, left and right arrow keys + ESC. You'll have to use abilities with hotkeys to detect the characters from a-z, and you can use items in the inventory to detect some numbers on the numpad.. But that's all, and it has more negative sides than positive.

By the way, learn to use the forum search feature, this has been asked many times before.

I see. Thanks for the help, and I'm very sorry about the search feature -- it didn't come to my mind :)
