http://www.pollama.com As you may notice, these forums are still being worked on some but for the most part are up and running. I just moved on to my own server with completly new forums, so what a better time to get involved. Don't be turned off by the fact theres only 60 members at the moment, I just made it public 4 days ago, the older forums are not even moved fully over yet. Benefits -Really good server(Fast and Expensive). -Short domain name(No http://www.blahfreeblah.com/freeness/yourforum) -No Advertisements Currently -Front Page Forum(It would go under Other Map's and Projects, or even have its own category.) -Full-Control over your forum. -Tons of extra features no one cares about, but nice anyway. -No having to deal with nasty website problems. -Free Advertising -Forum is very open, easy to register, post, etc. No verif needed. Not to mention friendly but thats an opinion. Cons -Cons? The point of this is to advertise eachother's maps, and bring traffic to my forums so in the future a small amount of ADs can pay for the hosting bill(Yes I admitted it). The only thing I ask in return is that your forum is somewhat popular in comparison to the rest of the site. If they are very popular then you will get your own category, if they are very not popular then they become a Sub-Forum. Forums are sorted by popularity. So there are no other requirements. Note: This is only meant for maps that have been released(beta included), so theres actually a reason for you to have a forum. I encourage you to advertise it all over your map if you decide to join. If your interested, have questions, or etc let me know by posting here. Right now i'm busy with moving the old forums over/finishing up layout. |

Hey I think this is considered as rude advertising. You see? You didn't even choose project discussion or off topic for this shameless advertising you actually decided to put it in my general development forum! Could you try to be a little more polite next time? I applaud you for not having a verif, that means that if your site gets big it will be spammed to death. I am closing up this thread, notice that according to the rules I should delete it, consider yourself lucky. |
