Since the missiles in the previous packs were so appreciated I decided to make a dedicated pack only with missiles. After considering and reconsidering, here is what I came up to: a pack with two missiles each belonging to a different element. Pressure Bolt (lightning) - this was inspired from diablo 2 -Lightning Fury- ability. Venom Ray (poison/earth) - inspired again from a diablo 2 ability, this time plague javelin. Since a cloud looked really weird I decided to stick to generic glowed planes. I am pleased with them. I won't really have time to work at any more effects so the modifications necessary will be made later probabil since weekend is over. School eats a lot of my time right now! Comments, suggestions... you know! Edit: Don't search for the purple missile. I planned to release it as well but it looks terrible so until/if it is modified, I removed it from the pack. ~Daelin |

Looks very good. I haven't tested them but it dones't look like they have any ehm solid "geomtry" which is good. |

Actually Daminon, these are the simplest effects in terms of geometry I've made (or atleast... almost :)). Mike... Fixing the missile is pretty simple. I'm going to remove the horizontal skull so that the head doesn't look so messy. Since the vertical skull is bilboarded, it is always visible. However, there are some additional effects I want to add, since it looks a bit too simple. The particles on the skull are not enough. Maybe some particles in model space. Punisher... I never started a bone spirit but I may add it to this pack too then. It kinda intimidated me because of the complex shape of the bone head but I may now be able to do it. I'll see what I can do about it. ~Daelin |

y dont u just modify death coil and uv wrap the howl of terror skull over it and just add particles from then on to it ;P anways, looks nice. If u want to REALLY make plague javelin, use blend filter of any of the dust textures or cloudsingle blend and color it green/dark green and u can make it look like the ones in D2. i discovered this myself when I made the death fumes breath model =P not ur best work though, ur other ones are WAY better. good anyway lol. |

I don't do modifications. I scratch! And I know how to do smoke. Just that it didn't look good enough. ~Daelin |

It seems like war beetween Fang and Dealin. Your turn, JFI. Or it's mine? ArchWorm added: Kind of lame that these models don't play sounds. |

And there is no war between me and JetFang. We both post special effects on the site. So what? It's not like they are response to one-another. I make a response sometimes to my own effects, depending on public's opinion and suggestions. And for god sake, read my nickname before using it in your post. It's Daelin, not Dealin! ~Daelin |
