I'm working on this little project, its a French RPG made from scratch. I don't know what it will look like when it will be done but, here are some screenshots. (I'm still working on the terrain, 40% is done so far.). The Bloodmage was for testing only.

Here is the order;
  1. Road to the Lake
  2. Road to the Lake
  3. Starting Place
  4. The Cimetery
  5. The Lake
  6. The Town

I'm still working on those Mountains

First Update:
  1. Frozen Battlefield
  2. The Frozen Mountain
  3. Les Nayétors (French invented word)
  4. The Town's Armory

Edit: Reuploaded the screenshots as Jpg

I think it's nice, especially since it appears no imports have been used

I don't really want to use imports. Its possible to make nice Terrain with Blizzard doodads and I want to prove it.

Freakazoid, If it works in french, I'll probably ask my friend to translate it.

Great terrain! Very nice tile variation and use of environmental doodads. You used enough without overdoing it. You also did a great job with height variation, as in lowering the path in the forest. I love the colors, the gold and the deep purples and blues. It has a great feel, good job. And don't worry about using imports. Your terrain is good enough that you don't need them.

I've seen some of your work Zurg, I'm glad you like my terrain. I'm gonna post screenshots of new zone soon enough.

Oh, another french guy around here ! Le titre en français est pas définif je suppose ? (means : the title is not final I guess ?)
This looks promising, great terraining for a non-import and playable map

Armelior, Non, le titre n'est pas définitif, il y a possibilité de changement.
Translated (No, the title may be changed, its not definitive)

I'm planning on making it a little map for the moment and increase it size later on, is it a good idea?

Why in french ?

You are speaking english to us right now, and the person who took the screenshot's game is in english ...

But anyways... I could maybe help you translate once it's done.

I'm making in it french because I think there is not a lot of good french map. I've looked around some of them and they actually sucks...

For the screenshots, I took them. I have Wc3 in french but I asked my friends to lend me his CDs because the english shortcuts are different from the french one and it can go all messed up. But I'm translating the spells in french and no, its not a problem.

You could probably help me to translate it in english once its done, but its not near to be finished.

P.S. As you can see, my english is pretty bad. I'm from Quebec, Canada, I'm not really "French". :P
