Anybody else have a problem where you go to import a model and when you are in the dialog to pick a file on your computer the World Editor suddenly disappears? Because that is happening to me and it is really freaking annoying. |

I have the same problem, but not only with the WE, but with all programs... when I get the browsing window, sometimes, that program suddenly dissapears... But all this started with WE... so I'd like to know the answer at this aswell... |

Old problem. I have been told that it is when you have multiple maps opened in the WE at the same time that it happens - Try making sure that you only have one map opened when importing. This has worked for me, but I might have been lucky. |

Well, when this happened to me, I was just opening WE, then a map, then trying to import, WE dissapears... And the thing that worries me is that happens with multiple programs (in my case)... |

Then you propably have a serious problem with your computer. If i were you, i would make some back ups as fast as possible. When already more than 1 program crashs you've a serious error in your system. |

I generally get it when I leave it browsing for to long. i.e. I click import, search for a file then just stop, it usually crashes. As long as you keep clicking it doesnt crash :-) |

I've had the same exact problem, with WE first and then a number of programs. I eventually swapped that computer for the one I have now, but I think the problem was fixed after reformatting. I never understood it though. |

I noticed that I have this problem if I'm running Wc3Viewer and WE simultaneously; after closing both, it continues to be an issue until I restart my computer. |

Wow, I never realized this was such a common issue. I guess I was rather hasty in posting though, I haven't even tried restarting my computer. And I have had the Wc3 Image Extractor open all this time too. So I will try shutting everything down and restarting and all that and hopefully that will fix it. |

Well, the problem went away, I didn't even restart. I think it was related to having the Warcraft Image Exctractor open but I can't duplicate the error now. |
