Unholy Alliance IV Download : Here Current Version : Beta 0.30a Filesize : ~420kb (well, this is Beta 0.30 after all...) I'm sure most of us here had played WarChasers before, this map is also a hero advanture game, but of course, lots more complicated, as to increase the replayability. Stories : Well we all know that the demon Archimond was defeated in the RoC, and Arthas became the Lich King in the Frozen Throne, but nobody know, that somewhere in northead, an Unholy Alliance consists of the outcasts of the Burning Legion, Elves, Mankind, and the Horde, fight to survive in this forsaken world... Features : - Basically, a RPG game. - Each hero have 5 active spells, and 11 passive skills enchanted in a spell book, by learning the active spells you will gain bonus from the passive spells with different combination of spells. (that make up to a total of 16 spells) - The creep system are totally random, different creep might spawn for the same creep camp, never think that *oh this is a troll camp, i can easilly handle this... OMG WTF A DEMON !!... ::sound of flesh flying around::* and you get killed. Random secial feature might get enchanted to certain creep when spawned. (stone skin, extra strong, extra fast, etc) - Whole game will be like one chapter in diablo 2 (well expect miniboss running around, uber creater, final boss, etc) - Multiquest system, you can finish off the game with different way you like, like helping the evil kill the goods, helping the good kill the evils (in progress) - Portal system that allow you to go back any part of the map where you need to do some unfinished quest. (aka waypoints in diablo2) - Advance Inventory system (AAAInventory System from blade.dk) each hero allow to carry up to 16 items, and also 5 equiptment slots - Advance Potion system (Potions triggered, they will heal based on the hero's stat, eg: high str hero may gain more life from using health potion, while high int hero may gain more mana.) - Drag and Drop combination system (we are getting bored with recipe system in many games, so something new have to come out, and here's one, you drag and drop one item into another, cratfing new item, with some luck you might get some unknown-item that was not listed in the recipe list :D special credit : Vexorian's InvX ) Estimation for a full version release : |||||||||| - 30% Change Log for the previous updates :
oh yeah, not to forget, some screenshots !! pic 1 : hero selection (again, thanks to Vexorian's Hero Selection System) ![]() pic 2 : the portal (waypoint) system, as version go on more waypoints will be added. ![]() pic 3 : exploring dungeon and unknown-land pic 4 : Town of Absurtus and finally, please forgive my poor english if you feel like *wtf is he saying ?* ![]() |

I tested for 5 minutes and it seemed solid enough. The passives and character development seemed intriguing. I'll try and check this properly tomorrow, when I get the chance to play it in multiplayer. Edit: Yeah, heh. There wasn't much to do in the map after all. As I said, skill system is good enough, all that is needed now is a bigger map and maybe some sort of quest/story. Terrain was also nice. Keep it up. |

I still don't know what people gain from making a "Thumbs Down" the symbol for their map. Do you want us to think it sucks before we even look at it? :P |

The map was greatly polished and the system was great. But i didn't understand the gameplay much, I was just runing around killing creeps for 10 mins, until that dreadlord poped up. To be continued,... |

about the gameplay, to put it simple - as 2 or more of your active skills reached higher level, you will gain bonus from passive skills (e.g, for the necromancer, when dark blessing reached level 3 and bone prison reached level 2, he will gain a passive skill called corpse explosion, where if he use dark blessing to killed an enemy, the enemy have a chance to explode and deal damage to nearby enemy according to his max life) again, whole game will be pretty diablo-ish but... ![]() |

No, I did understand the skill system, but I didn't understand the whole creep killing on the small map. Are there more than 2 heroes?? Came back from school, will test further! |

mmm how to say this, the creep killing in the small map is like setup for the game, you get some basic about the game and level up your hero abit before moving into next stage, also in the small map you can get to know whats your hero capable of and do some reading in the passive skills (for new players of the map) and yeah, more hero will be added in future version, i just made this 2 for beta testing hope to get some feedback before i decide to spend more time on it or not X) |

Hey it is pretty good but I gotten confused how to finish the map? Prehaps write down a list of events? Also this is like Diablo 2! Come on the first quest is easy ass! (I'll love to be a beta tester!) |

ah thanks guys for the feedback :) I'll start to work on the inventory system and also the quest log, it will take quite some time because whole map is made by me and only me X) |

Well since this map has great potential, I can help you with the terrain. Check out my personal gallery. Rep for you! How about making an arena in some point of the map. Or even a few mods for it. Like: -RPG -PvP -Survival -Blah x) |

I just look through your galleries and whao O_o i wonder i can use some of the picture for the loading screen >.< it is really nice !! well sure i do hope that you could help out in the town design and also some of the dungeon that came into my mind now, but what i really need now is a good jasser, man im really having problem to make the trigger work in jass... as for the game mode, the normal mode will be very RPG, making it PvP is possible too but it will take a very very hard time to balance the things up, same goes to survival x) |
