Wc3C Icon Package - Project

What is this project about ?
I'm going to collect as much Icons for it as possible, but not any Icons you found out there,
they have to made by your own, and specially for this package, so do not send any Icons,
which are already submitted here or on other sites.
Here are some additional rules next to the Regulations:

1. Everyone is allowed to submit 5 Icons in total.
2. Icons for models and recolors aren't accepted.
3. Icons are only accepted with BTN + DISBTN (PASBTN and AUTOCAST aren't required but optional) versions included.

The Borders for Icons are avaible here.

Once this project is finished, I am going to submit them as package (including with credits to everyone
who added his/her Icon) only on this site ... and of course I hope the package will get approved,
and maybe the package will be shown in the News and something similar like the Undead Hero Pack.

So finally I hope this package will get great, and this will make the page a bit more unique

You wanna help, you wanna submit your Icon, then post it exactly like this:

And please attach your Icons (.jpg format would be nice) here and do not link them from other sites...
The red marked parts are important, so I can after finishing this package, give the credits to the author,
and I do not have to search a long time for them
I added an example Icon, so you get an idea how it could look like.


With help of olofmoleman, I can decide which Icons will come into the package and which not.

Deadline:
There won't be a deadline, if I got enough Icons,
I will convert them into .blp format
and submit them as Wc3C Icon Package.

I don't think you should ever add a deadline. just as soon as there are enough icons, stop this thing and submit them. that's if this project of your's is going to stand.

might i also suggest that they should be done in the same style as well (WCish), icons that dont match arent cool.

besides that i plan to submit one once i have time.... i like the idea

I am not sure about that, I thought of this package, so if they will be 50 Icons and 25 are made by one guy, it is nearly his own package and not the Wc3C-Package ... Maybe I increase the number for submits ... to 5. What do you think of it

The idea is good but I hope what you and others produce is that of the wc3 style/quality.

For example, your disabled/passive and auto-cast icons look average, nothing like that of blizzards work. Someone with your artistic ability should be able to see these mistakes/imperfections and make wc3-like icons.

I am at the beginning of ICONING, so I did not get that much skill to it, but it is definatly easier as I thought, so just let me try a bit more, I will master it.

Somehow no one is interested in it :(

I'd be interested in it if I wasn't retired.

IMO this is not a problem, the idea is to give a contribution to the project, if somebody makes 100 icons, That's great, she or he will receive credit for each icon.

I used to draw, actually ATM I still draw but I've lost the patience to do detailed and polished drawings. Anyways, if I have something, be sure I will contribute.

Make it so that PASBTN and AUTOCAST aren't required but optional, and yes, I think that 5 icons per user is better then just one.

Ok, I updated all given ideas in first thread... now let's hope there will be any submits for this project.

Here's an icon to get this project going. Don't know if it's to much use I just started drawing something and it turned in to ooze, I hope it's possible to see what it is suposed to be

So all of these icons are for spells and such, no models? I may enter if I find time in the near future. Looks pretty nice Juice, but it would be much cooler if the ooze glowed some deathly color and was more oozy:P
