i have no idea how to do, but i want to skin the ghost model from the konstrukt-pack (credits to talon the mage) in an other way than the spacemarine. so the question is: could anyone change the ghost modell, that it will have a custom texture? (like "textures/scunits/ghost.blp" instead of "Units\Critters\Marine\SpaceMarine.blp") this would be great, and i would be happy... thx |

You can just import ghost.blp and rename it to "Units\Critters\Marine\SpaceMarine.blp" |

of course i can, but after that, the spacemarine looks like a fat ghost. and even this is my problem... spacemarine and ghost should not look the same. |

...your path was wrong. i became furious and tried the whole night, how to change it. your path was: textures/scunits/... BUT in game it only works with \ instread of / (textures\scunits...) the good thing about it: now i can do things like this on my own (uh... i leaned!)thanks to you. |

just use the tool "mdx pather" somewhere on this site, open a model with it and u will see the unit's texture pathes. u can easily edit these pathes by editing it there and saving it. |

thx. i will test it. i saved the modell as mdl, opend it with the notepad and changed the textpassage conainig the texture path, save as mdx and test it... seems also to work. (i guess there is a tutorial somewhere ) |
