Weapon Pack 1

10-06-2006, 08:38 AM#1
General Frank
I loved Mc!'s items pack, but wondered why there are so less weapons, so I decided to make a new pack containing some weapons.
Should be an addition to Mc!'s items pack.

Credits to:
Mc! for base item model
Blizzard for weapons models, textures
Me (General Frank) for the work

Packs contains:
- Bloodelf Spellthief blade/sword
- Frostmourne
- Frostmourne High Poly
- Gold Blade
- Campaign Grunt Axe
- Pitlord's Blade
- Campaign Rexxar Axe
- Wolfrider Sabre
- Chaos Wolfrider Sabre
- Unbroken Club

Constructive Comments and Critics welcome!

EDIT: Added a attachment zip to downloads! Credits to me and Blizzard Entertainment.

Have fun with them.

Very useful for me, i've always hated the lack of weapon models.

Hey, these weapons are awesome.

Btw, if you also make versions without the big particle emitter, people can use these as weapon attachments. Just a thought, I know at least I myself would use that :)

No you couldn't because the item is spinning above the ground and not standing still.

Weapon attachments is what I had hoped they were when I saw the title, lol. :P
You could always jst orient them about the origin and give them a stand animation that does nothing.
Then they can be added via AddSpecialEffectTarget() and such to heros or units.

Oh well, they're very nice indeed and they don't use custom textures and such.
I'm sure they can be useful to someone somewhere.

How much work is it to make a static version of these? For use as attachables? Cause as it stands, that would be exceedingly useful.

Static Versions?
I've them here on my computer. If you want I can add them to the first post. =)

Yes please! The other 95% of Wc3c population will then find a great use for them :D.

And btw, they are very nice, goodjob on them, snazzy rep.

Even though you didn't really make the models, they are quite usefull, and it's not like you didn't do any work yourself on them, so...
