Im only posting a new thread since no one will post anything in my Art Thread so i dont want to tripple post. Anyway...

As the fire of Mannoroth dimmed from of his death, there where still those who have it burned within their soul. Fighting barbaricly the Fel Orcs besieged many villages and then, one day, after being brought back onto Azeroth they attacked Stormwind and brought it to ruin. There where no survivers but little David. He crawled behind massive debre and awaited the Fel Orcs leave. When they gone he looked at all the destruction and mourned. After many days looking threw everything he found a peculiar rock covered in green flame. He picked it up and it thrusted his body into the air, when he tried to scream a blaze of green flame shot from his mouth, in a fit of fright he backed up and nearly fell off a small stone cliff. But to his suprise a rope made of burning green fire came from his hand and tied around a pull, saving him from death. After many months of self training himself to perfect this new ability, he searched out the last reminents of Dalaran, the Elder, Krin'tor mages. He showed them his ability and they where stunned, they called him evil. But more frightening, he was the first Fel Human.

About 20 mins. Just trying out light reflections.

It could use more shadow on the actual character, becouse the light source is the hand.

pretty cool, however its true that it'd be better to get rid of the other light souce.

Don't forget that in some cases, less is more. You can obscure the body in shadow, and as long as you are still communicating the right idea, the shadow becomes an effective addition.

Also, grey isn't seen much in color works unless you see some sophisticated lighting and atmospheric issues being addressed. If the fellow's local color is grey, it will still almost always be affected by the light.

I did a quick paintover if you don't mind to illustrate some of my points.

Good experimentation, but see how much further you can push it. Experiment with eliminating certain aspects and seeing how this affects the overall effect. Especially in photoshop, there is little reason to feel trepidation at going out on a limb since you can always go back.

Thank you, I dont see how the top of his head is eluminated. The light from his palm couldn't possibly reach there.. can it? And why is the farthest cheek more bright than the closest?

yeah, i know i have the 2 light sources in my picture, i was asking why-in his picture-he has the green elumination on the forehead, and how could the green light reach that area which is convexed and away from the lights "vision".
