It's really simple. I want to use a few hero models for units in my map. Since the map has no heroes, I was hoping there would be a method that could remove all hero glows in a map by replacing some texture or something, instead of the usual method when hero glow is removed on a per-model basis by importing a custom version of that model; as you can guess, I wish to avoid the file size boost that 3 custom models would bring. So, can this be done this way or not? |

Err yes it can, there is a path of all hero glows. Though this will also alpha out other glows, (e.g. glow on the staff for the bandit mage, erm... cant think of any others off my head) as for the path I forget, something with 00,01,02,etc. like team colour. |

That's super. I was afraid they'd share the team colour texture and you couldn't remove it without removing team colour, but if they have a seperate texture then that's just great. I'll see if I can find it in the MPQ. Edit: Didn't work, I replaced ReplaceableTextures\HeroGlow\TeamGlow00.blp with a new, completely black image, but my red-player PotM still had her hero glow. |

Hm.. I'm not sure, I've never actually tried, maybe it has a different path in TFT? |

Oddly enough, I did find more glow textures in the expansion mpq, albeit only for players 1 and 2. Replacing those had no effect either, though. |
