WT 39 - Peaceful Moonlight

10-16-2006, 12:35 AM#1
[Death]
A full moon night mixes memory and desire. I stand on a white beach before a blue moonlit sea. I stand on a white beach my armor caked dark red with battle-grime. I stand on a white beach before a landing boat with the pale yellow sails. The full moon illuminates my purpose, my battle behind, my peace ahead.
I shed my blood caked armor, leaving it on the white beach. Wading out into the cool, rippling, moon stained blue waves I board the boat with the pale yellow sails. I furl the sails and take to the oars, leaving the red blood-caked armor and the white beach. The full moon envelops my progress, the blue waves behind, the blue waves ahead.
And so I go. Lands far and wide, bathed in moonlight will I find. A full moon night awaits. My peace at last.

The broken columns are floating, use ctrl + pgup/down to sink or raise them. Do this with trees too, when they are on slopes.

Really liking this apart from the mountain/hill blocking out part of the moon, it's too plain and needs more detail/variation.

evading self: 2nd and 3rd shot are very cool. I also like the reflection in the last shot. Is it photoshopped or a lightmodel?

Right people: Big question cause I really wanna know how to do this.

How do you make those extremely steep next-to-vertical hills used for cliffs?
