importing model

Im slowly making my way through cookies 3ds max importer tutorial (link)

But ive come to a dead end. im really new to the whole modeling thing so im hoping for some help.

I have gotten to the part where you add the textures to the model. After that im not really sure what to do. i think im at the point i only need to fix the animations:
"Now, you must know that Fadi's importer imports the keys of the bones not quite accurate. Try selecting all the keys of all the bones and try "moving" them in dopesheet."

That means you have to manualy move the keys so the animation looks like it should be.

but i cant find any animations..

Then you either did not import it right or you don't know that the animations consists of keyframes wich you can see if you select the animated object (in this case the bones) in the lower part of the screen, in that timeline or in the dope sheet and curve editor. Those keys you have to select and tweak their positions.

Step 1
This is where you find the dope sheet.
Zoom (requires log in)

Step 2
This is the dope sheet, you find the slide keys button and then highlight the keys (They look like little |'s or a little piece of paper)
Zoom (requires log in)

Step 3
Drag the keys along the timeline to the right position, depending on where they need to be.
